Job Summary
In the last twenty years Worldwide FX has become one of the premier visual effects houses in Europe.
Our major film credits include "Hitman's Wife Bodyguard", "Hellboy", "Hitman's Bodyguard", "Hunter Killer", “London Has Fallen”, “Criminal”, ”Rambo”, “Olympus Has Fallen”, “Automata”, “The Expendables” (film series), “The Legend of Hercules”, “Conan”, among many others to which our skillful team added a high standard visual marvel.
We have new projects coming our way and for expanding our team in Sofia, Bulgaria we are looking for full-time (hybrid) FX Artists or contract base (remote work possible from anywhere within Europe)

Major Duties
• You will be responsible for creating explosions, fire, smoke, destruction fx, water, clouds as well as abstract magic;
• Work closely with team members to provide rendered images and animations to the specifications of each project;
• Ensure that assigned shots fit in the continuity of a sequence and fulfill the vision of the VFX and CG Supervisor and Head of FX Department while meeting the production schedule;
• Proactively contribute innovative and original ideas towards optimizing FX and look development for the production;
• Find ingenious and innovative solutions to creative problems;
• Explore and recommend new FX techniques and software;

Qualifications
• Experience with Houdini FX particle systems, fluid dynamics, rigid body dynamics, soft body dynamics and procedural systems in either commercial and/or Film and Episodic realms. Understanding of simulation techniques and technologies relating to fx;
• Knowledge of Maya, Nuke and other visual effects creation software will be helpful;
• Experience with Linux OS environment;
• Striving to continually improve systems and workflows;
• Organized and efficient, communicating progress effectively;
• Good communication skills and team working ability;
