Worldwide FX’s team is working on the modeling of the 3D avatars and the 3D sets of Javor Gardev’s “Quartet – Dangerous Liaisons After the End of the World”– a live performance movie that will premierе on 12 May and which is produced by the National Palace of Culture. Mr. Gardev, as usual, had a bold approach and decided to turn Heiner Müller’ play into a multimedia production including creative decision that has not been applied on theatrical stage in Bulgaria so far. It is the first time that a theater stage in the country will show a fully developed 3D environment in which actors and their 3D avatars will interact in real time. For this purpose infra red cameras will follow the bodies of the actors Zachary Baharov and Snezhina Petrova and will transmit their movements through motion capture system as a live image on the big screen in Hall 1 of the National Palace of Culture.
Our team is assisting the ambitious project of Javor Gardev with all the necessary tools that we use on daily basis to turn a storyboard into a spectacular feature movie. Our artists has been in constant cooperation with Mr. Gardev and the artist Vladimir Todorov and in that process came up the concept the 3D avatars to be modeled as stone statues. We are now on the final stage putting the finishing touches in order to present the usual high-quality of our creative work.
