We are currently on the lookout for experienced Lighting TDs to join our 3D team.
The main focus of the position will be shot lighting and rendering using Katana/Renderman.
Successful applicants will have a well developed eye, a good working knowledge of art, design and film lighting as well as a solid technical grounding in Renderman or other Renderman compliant renderers. Previous experience as lighting/rendering artists for feature films will be a big advantage.
Required qualifications:
- Solid understanding of rendering using Renderman
- Familiarity with pipeline issues. Demonstrable experience in photorealistic lighting and rendering. Showreels featuring photoreal work would be preferred
- Previous experience with Katana is advantageous
- Some experience in Look Development and shader setup would be an advantage
- A good general TD background is desirable
- Good communication skills and ability to take exact directions
