March 15, 2016

Led by the Senior Visual Effects Supervisor Sean Farrow, and the Visual Effects Producer Anna V. James, Worldwide FX was lead VFX studio on “London Has Fallen” delivering more than 400 shots.

One of the main challenges for our team was the Chelsea Bridge sequence, which involved the creation of a full scale CG replica of the iconic bridge over the River Thames in London.

Music: “Nova Scotia”, “Australia” by Lino Rise

The work for this sequence included CG traffic, explosions, fire, water splashes, smoke, debris, photorealistic and very detailed model of the Chelsea Bridge –  a time-consuming, but ultimately rewarding, task.

“London Has Fallen” (2016) is directed by Babak Najafi and is starring Gerard Butler, Morgan Freeman, Aaron Eckhart, Angela Bassett.
