We are excited to present to you our latest VFX Breakdown showing our work on the Spanish drama “Loving Pablo“.
Working closely with the director Fernando León de Aranoa WWFX’s team lead by our VFX supervisor Alexander Valev completed 300 shots for “Loving Pablo”.
Our work included transforming Bogota into Medellín through DMPs and set extensions, creating 3D elements for the highway sequence including the plane and a lot of vehicles, recreating the White house interior from Ronald Reagan’s time.
We also made a prosthetic enhancement for Javier Bardem to make the physical resemblance of the actor to Pablo Escobar bigger.
The movie depicts the rise and fall of Pablo Escobar as seen by the journalist Virginia Vallejo who has an affair with the Colombian drug lord. The story is base on her bestselling memoir “Loving Pablo, Hating Escobar”.
“Loving Pablo” (2017) is directed by Fernando León de Aranoa and is starring Javier Bardem, Penélope Cruz, Peter Sarsgaard, Julieth Restrepo.
